Windsor Basketball dominates Golden Hawks in second half; win 109-76

Isaac Kuon led the no. 10 nationally ranked Windsor Lancers, who outscored the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks 63-37 in the second half, to claim a 109-76 victory.
 
Windsor sits in second place in the OUA West with a 14-6 record, with two games remaining in the regular season.
 
Windsor jumped ahead from the onset of the game and saw the game only tied up once at the 8-minute mark of the second quarter. The score at the halfway mark was 46-39 for the Lancers.
 
The Lancers were able to capitalize off of Laurier's 16 turnovers in the second half, compared to Windsor's 8, earning 26 points.
 
Kuon led Windsor with 24 points while Lien Phillip earned a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. There were six Lancers in double digit points.
 
Patrick Donnelly led the Hawks' offence with 14 points.
 
Windsor shot an impressive 49.3% from the floor in the match, while the Hawks were only shot 31%.
 
The Lancers will host McMaster on Wednesday night at the St. Denis Centre in their final regular season home game at 8:00pm. The Lancers will also honour their graduating athletes at the game.
