Box Score

The Windsor Lancers Men's Basketball team snapped a four game losing streak on Saturday with a solid 77-67 win over the visiting Laurier Golden Hawks at the St. Denis Centre.

With the win, the Lancers move to 12-6 in conference play and sit in second place in the OUA West division.

Saturday's game was part of the Lancer Men's Basketball Alumni weekend which saw alumni, friends and family of the program back on campus for festivities.

The match-up against Laurier was a tightly contested and physical affair, as both teams came out with something to prove in a battle for second place in the OUA West.

After a close opening two quarters that saw the game tied 31-31 at the half, the Lancers picked up some momentum and built a five point lead in the third quarter.

Late in the game, Windsor continued to apply pressure to the Golden Hawks at both ends of the court as they increased their lead to 10 points and cruised to the 77-67 victory.

Isaac Kuon paced the Lancers with 28 points, including 11-of-12 from the free throw line, while Josh Collins chipped in with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.

The Lancers will be back in action on Wednesday night when they play host to the Waterloo Warriors at 8pm at the St. Denis Centre.
