Box Score WINDSOR, Ont.- The Windsor Lancers men's hockey team used a balanced scoring attack to snap a four-game losing streak, as they grabbed their 12th win of the season with a 6-3 triumph over the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday evening at South Windsor Arena.
Six different Lancers found the back of the net as Windsor (12-8-0) won its first conference match of the New Year, using three power-play goals to drive them over the Golden Hawks (7-11-1) and into a tie for fourth place in the OUA West division.
The Lancers jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first two periods, but the visitors were able to get one back short-handed at around the midway point of the second-frame. MacAulay MacDonnell tallid his ninth of the season and
Drew Palmer added his sixth, both in the third period to help solidify the victory.

Saverio Posa is averaging a point a game early in his OUA career, adding two more assists against the Golden Hawks while four other Lancers grabbed a goal and a helper in the win.
The hosts fired 48 shots on Golden Hawks goalkeeper Duncan Long, while
Parker Van Buskirk turned aside 34 of 37 attempts to earn his 11th win of the season. Windsor was 3-for-9 on the power-play, and Laurier was scoreless on their five power-plays.
