The Lancer cross country team compete at the U SPORTS championships under extreme weather conditions from Hurricane Nicole, Saturday in Halifax, NS.

Cameron Cira was named a U SPORTS all-Canadian with a 12th place finish overall. Cira completed the 8km course in a time of 25:06.

Johnathan Rioux completed the race in 25:31 to place 26th, while
Luke Mawhinney finished in a time of 27:26.

On the women's side, the blue and gold placed 15th overall in the team standings.

Windsor was led by
Nicole LaRue with a 32nd place finish in a time of 30:27. Sophomore Samara Quanz completed the 8km course in a time of 31:22, while
Chloe Walker ran a 32:18 to place 84th.

Natalie Whitten ran a 32:31, while
Meg Mooney finished with a time of 32:58.
