The University of Windsor Lancers track and field team had their annual Blue & Gold inter-squad meet on Friday (Nov. 21) and Saturday (Nov. 22) in the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse at the Toldo Lancer Centre. Three Lancers met U SPORTS automatic qualifications for the 2026 U SPORTS National Championships in March.
Six meet records were set over the weekend including
AJ Stanat's 17.73m mark in men's shot put,
Noah Costa (4:14.89) in the men's one mile,
Isabella Goveia (2:52.40) in the women's 1000m, and
Grace Elford in women's pole vault at 4.01m.
Maya Metivier,
Nadia Pupatello, Avery McGregor, and
Mikayla May set the meet record in the women's 4x200m relay with a time of 1:42.72, and the 1:29:16 time in the men's side of the event set by Noah Wadel-Henry,
Ryan Holly,
Cameron John-Dunslow, and
Tristen Miscia was another meet record.
Three Lancers achieved U SPORTS automatic qualifying marks. Stanat's shot put meet record qualified him for the national championships, Elford met qualifications for pole vault, and
Jordana Badley-Castello met the mark in women's weight throw with a distance of 18.84m.

The Lancers continue their season prep with a multi-events only meet at the Hillsdale Invitational in Hillsdale, Mi. from Dec. 3-4.
