Miscia & Eybergen have record breaking day on day two of U SPORTS Championships

The Windsor Lancers had another standout day at the 2025 U SPORTS national championships Friday at the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse. 

The Lancer men head into the final day of competition in fourth place with 26 points, while the women are in fifth with 30 points.

Highlights of the day included Lancer heptathlete Tristan Miscia capturing the overall gold medal. Miscia set not only a personal best in the event with 5270 points, but he also set a personal best in every single event of the heptathlon over the two days, setting a new Lancer record in the event. 

On the women's side, Madelyn Eybergen dominated the women's 3000m race, lapping multiple competitors and claiming gold setting a new Lancer record with a time of 9:20.72. 

The men's 4x800m relay team also reached the podium, coming from behind to claim silver with a tim of 7:35.34.
