The University of Windsor Lancers track and field team wrapped up the second and final day of the 2026 OUA Track & Field Championships with nine more medals, brining their weekend total to 19. This earned the women's team a third overall finish and the men's team placed fourth.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
Jordana Badley-Castello kicked the day off with an OUA record-breaking performance in weight throw, as her toss of 19.11m set a new provincial best by over three-tenths of a metre and earned her a gold medal and U SPORTS berth.
Mikayla May won triple jump, her second medal of the weekend, with a 12.40m leap for gold and will be heading to U SPORTS.
Chloe VidAmour also found herself on the podium with a 12.09m jump for bronze.
No. 3 nationally-ranked runner
Isabella Goveia added another OUA medal to her collection with a silver medal in the 600m with a 1:29.71.
The 4x400m relay team of
Kelis Daye,
Maya Metivier,
Nadia Pupatello, and Goveia won silver with a 3:47.67 time, clinching a U SPORTS berth. In the 4x200m,
Cali Marles, Metivier, Daye, and Pupatello won bronze with a 1:41.66 time.
MEN'S RESULTS
AJ Stanat set the second OUA record of the day with a 19.06m heave in shot put to beat the previous OUA of 18.59m and put his name atop the all-time list to win gold. He will represent the Lancers at U SPORTS in two weeks' time.
Tristen Miscia followed up on his OUA and U SPORTS gold medal from last year with a gold in the heptathlon today, claiming the top spot with 5048 points while winning the 60m (7.16s), long jump (6.90m), shot put (13.66m), and pole vault (4.20m).
Noah Costa's second medal of the weekend came in the 1500m, crossing the finish line in 3:48.10 to earn bronze.

Following this successful OUA championship weekend, the Lancers will head to Winnipeg, Man. on March 5-7 for the U SPORTS Track & Field Championships.
