Lancers defeat Badgers to close out conference play

Box Score ST. CATHARINES, Ont.- The Windsor Lancers men's basketball team grabbed an 84-77 come-from-behind victory over the Brock Badgers on Saturday afternoon in their final game of the regular season.

After going down by 16 points in the first quarter, the Lancers were able to cut into the lead before overtaking the Badgers in the third quarter.  Josh Collins tallied a game-high 22 points, knocking down 8-of-15 shots from the floor. Lien Phillip added 14 points and 13 rebounds, record a total of 14 double-doubles in 21 conference matches this year.  Ismar Seferagic shot 75% from the field, collecting 18 points to help spur Windsor to victory. 

The No. 5 Lancers finish the season at the top of the OUA West division with a 16-5 record, and earn a bye through the first round of the playoffs.  The men will host the OUA West quarter-final next Saturday, February 23, and will play one of the winners of the mid-week quarter-finals.
