Please join the Windsor Lancers women's basketball team on December 6th as they launch their first ever, W.E. for Women Event!

This event, which will take place virtually on zoom, is a celebration of top women leaders in the Windsor Essex community and will be an incredible opportunity for networking.
 
The event lineup includes a keynote address on self-confidence from Lancer head coach Chantal Vallée, a discussion regarding skills, tips and advice from the featured panelists, as well as a University of Windsor alumni , current and future committed WBB recruits question and answer panel.
 
Joining Coach Vallée are featured panelists Mary Jo Haddad, the first female Chancellor at the University of Windsor; Jennifer Jones, the President/CEO of Media Street Productions; Janice Kaffer, the President/CEO of Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare; Yvonne Pilon, the President/CEO of WEtech Alliance; Wen Teoh, the Director and Co-Founder of EPICentre; and Leslie McCurdy, an award winning actress, dancer, singer and playwright.

There will be silent auction items provided by local businesses and organizations, as well as the opportunity to bid through facebook on one-on-one time with featured panelists! There is an excellent networking opportunity as the viewers can also bid for time with each of the panelist either for coffee or a zoom meeting at a later time.
 
All of the money raised goes straight into further empowering women, by helping fund the University of Windsor elite basketball program. This includes providing scholarship opportunities for athletes and the creation of coaching mentorship opportunities for women.
