The Lancer track & field team closed out the final day of the U SPORTS national championships with three medals.
As a team, the Lancer men finished 8th overall with 37 points and the women finished 13th with 17 points.Â

Rookie
Ben Tilson was named an all-Canadian in the men's 600m with a second-place finish in the event. Tilson crossed the line with a time of 79.59 to claim the silver medal.

Sydney Pattison captured her second medal of the meet with a third-place finish in the women's 1500m. She brought home bronze with a time of 4:23.32.

Nojah Parker also placed third in the men's pole vault with a bronze medal height of 4.83m.

Elsewhere in the field events,
Anthony Atkinson and
Zion Webb placed 6th and 7th in the men's shot put with throws of 15.13m and 15.04m, respectively.

Jaidyn Nyoff placed 5th in the women's triple jump with a leap of 11.81m, while Chloe Vidamour was 8th with a jump of 11.42m in the same event.

On the track, the Lancer men's 4x400m relay team of
Kobie Warden,
Ryan Mahabir,
Noah Waldmann, and Tilson placed 7th with a time of 3:22.53.
