Lancers to host 2025 U SPORTS Track & Field Championships

The Lancers are pleased to announce that they have been selected as the host of the 2025 U SPORTS Track & Field Championships, as announced Thursday by the U SPORTS office.

2025 will mark the 13th time that the blue and gold have hosted the national event inside the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse, and are renowned for hosting the event, most recently in 2018.

"The Lancers are thrilled to once again welcome the best student-athletes in track & field to the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse," commented Stephanie White, Director of Athletics. "The University of Windsor has a long and impressive history of success in track & field at the U SPORTS championships, and we are delighted to once again be hosting this national event. The Fairall Fieldhouse, adjacent to our new award winning Toldo Lancer Centre and named after one of the most decorated coaches in the history of Canadian university athletics, will set the stage for what can only be another remarkable and memorable event."

Windsor is also scheduled to host the OUA Track & Field Championships in 2024 & 2025. It was also announced Thursday that the University of Manitoba will host the 2024 U SPORTS Track & Field Championships next March.
