University of Windsor Lancers women's volleyball setter
Danika Scharff has been named an OUA Athlete of the Week for the period ending November 16, 2025.
Scharff played an instrumental role in back-to-back straight set victories for the Lancers over the TMU Bold this weekend, orchestrating the Windsor attack with 71 assists. The fourth-year setter had 33 assists on Friday (Nov. 14) night's win, helping the Lancers to a team hitting percentage of .276 in three sets, and followed it up with 38 assists on Saturday (Nov. 15) afternoon as the Lancers hit .330 collectively, displaying efficient passing in both dominant wins.
Scharff now leads the OUA and all of U SPORTS with an average of 10.64 assists per set this season. She was also able to contribute on both sides of the ball, picking up six kills, 13 digs, and six block assists over the two games.
The Lancers now hold a 6-0 (W-L) record this season and are first place in the OUA. The blue and gold will travel down the 401 this weekend for two games against the 3-3 Western Mustangs. First serve on Friday, November 21 in London, Ont. is scheduled for 6 p.m. The game can be streamed live on
