Five members of the Windsor Lancers track and field program have been selected to represent Team Ontario at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John's, Newfoundland. The track and field portion of the Games will take place during the second week, from August 19–23, at the Fortis Canada Games Complex.
Women's Team:
- Grace Elford – Pole Vault
Grace captured silver at the 2025 OUA Championships and followed up with a bronze medal at the 2025 U SPORTS Championships.
- Mikayla May – Long/Triple Jump
Mikayla is the 2025 OUA long jump champion, having set a new school record of 6.13m. She also earned silver in the triple jump at both the OUA and U SPORTS Championships.
- Riley Robitaille – Heptathlon
Riley claimed bronze at the 2025 OUA Championships and went on to finish 9th at the U SPORTS Championships.
Men's Team:
- AJ Stanat – Shot Put & Discus
AJ was dominant in the throwing events this season, winning both the shot put and weight throw at the OUA Championships. He capped off the year with a national title in the shot put at the U SPORTS Championships.
- Ben Tilson – 400m Hurdles & Relays
Ben will take on the 400m hurdles and relays after a standout season in which he won the OUA 600m title and earned silver at U SPORTS. He was also honored with the DeMarco Award at the Lancer Evening of Excellence, recognizing the top male student-athlete who best combines academic achievement with athletic success.
Before heading to St. John's, both AJ Stanat and Ben Tilson will represent Team Canada at the FISU World University Games in Bochum, Germany, taking place July 21–27.
