The Lancer cross country team closed out the 2023 season on Sunday at the U SPORTS Championship in London, ON.

The Lancer women finished 13th overall, while the men were 14th.

Nicole LaRue led the blue and gold with a 31st place finish in a time of 30:12.5.
Janelle Bykowski was the next Lancer to complete the 8km race, just a few seconds later with a time of 30:18.9, and
Samara Quanz finished 57th (30:58.2).

The top three finishers for the men included
Jacob Fitzpatrick in 27th with a time of 25:34.4,
Luke Mawhinney in 78th (26:31.3), and
Paul Popescu with a time of 26:59.1.

The Lancers will now break until the 2024 season and start to prepare for the indoor track & field season that kicks off in a few weeks at the Blue & Gold Intersquad meet.
